Description

Noman tries to recruit Delta detachment into helping them find the blue unicorn that they were tasked to find. But Team Able learns that the detachment is in search of another pony that went missing on a recon patrol. Knowing the probability of finding a missing militia patrol alive after being missing for so long is unsurprisingly low, Noman tells them that finding him alive is no longer possible, but the detachment waves it off as a biased claim on them and ignores his statement. Noman however offers them a lift to Little Seattle as well as ammunition for them should they continue on their mission; following one of The Outland Militia's original creeds. Both ponies accept the help but Rylan detests Noman's opinion for helping them. Despite suggestive dialogue thrown towards each other, Rylan reluctantly agrees to go along with it while Noman wonders if a certain someone has to deal with the same nonsense he is currently dealing with right now.

Author's Note: (Hopefully when this is over, I won't be doing this again.)
Telling a storyline through more than a point of view in more than one comic series is actually more difficult than I thought. I keep going back and thinking if this entire thing was a bad idea. But then again, I usually regret doing things after s**t hits the fan and I cannot continue without making it more confusing.
Anyways, despite Noman and Rylan coming off as rude to Winger and Delta. Noman and Rylan still need to keep up their appearances in-comic. Noman as someone who shows a pessimistic view towards new recruits and/or inexperienced Outland patrols and Rylan as someone who shows a biased hatred towards ponies but shows (some) tolerance if he has to.
If you read the description back in the title page of this comic, it mentions another pony who went missing. It could be obvious who the other missing pony is now. But because of this, Neros' son; Braveheart makes an appearance in both this series and TCOT: CH 2. Although Noman refers to Braveheart as deceased, it is because not everyone (or everypony) who ends up missing in the Outlands usually doesn't get back home alive (Let alone, in one piece.) and sometimes the group that was tasked to find the ones M.I.A. also end up as missing as well and are mostly found dead by the next group who is also tasked to go find them. Many recruits don't usually know that and the more seasoned ones usually warn them to either not bother or let the more experienced ones to go looking instead (In this comic, Noman uses the first option.). The last panel shows that Noman is aware of Gordon Freeman's mission in Equestria and despite saying he wouldn't beat up ponies and publicize himself to the inhabitants unless he's got a reason, it can be obvious that's the opposite of what he just said (TCOT: CH 1).
I'm also starting to think Noman is actually more of a different character all on his own instead of being my GMOD persona. Maybe when this is over, I'll decide whether or not if he's no longer related as my GMOD identity.
